The employee must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds, and manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude helpful. Use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to, a hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and an H2S Monitor as required or needed.

Position Summary:
- Drive semi-trailer trucks in yard (CDL not required) and also drive forklift to load/offload semi-trailer
Essential Functions:
- General maintenance and housekeeping office and yard
- Transfer productsbetween different packaging
- Assist in the inspection of chemical drums and totes for damage and leaks
- Assist with movement of chemical inventory in Gardendale yard using a forklift
- Wear proper PPE at all times in accordance with policies
- Become proficient with required Safety and Hazmat policies, procedures, and reporting
- Maintain, inspect, and clean equipment and facilities as required
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Forklift certification preferred
- Must possess a valid driver's license
Skills & Abilities:
- Computer Skills: Have basic computer skills. Efficiently navigate a web browser, follow online instructions, type, and use a mouse.
- Work Ethic: Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful, and credible in the workplace. Display a sincere desire to provide service or assistance, follow instructions, and take responsibility for your own actions. Show a commitment to doing the best job.
- Physical Abilities: Lift and carry 50 pounds in various packaging-tip and move 55-gallon drums weighing up to 600 lb, with the use of a drum dolly.
