We currently have an opening for a Warehouse Manager!

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: (Summary of job duties) Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of all warehouse operations. Assists operations manager with developing, updating and implementing efficient and safe operating procedures for all warehouse activities. Ensures procedures for shipping, receiving, housekeeping and storing of materials are being followed. Ensures materials received and shipped are done in an accurate, timely and efficient manner. Manages, trains and develops staff. Develops and maintains effective working relationships and communicates effectively with internal and external customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee warehouse and traffic functions to identify and implement operating efficiencies that will minimize operating costs and ensure a clean and safe operating environment exists at all times.
  • Develop written policies and operating procedures for all areas of responsibility (i.e. receipts, shipments, order pricing, production and traffic) and ensure all personnel are trained in same.
  • Develop and enforce procedures to ensure the warehouse operations are meeting company standards.
  • Develop and monitor performance benchmarks that measure the accuracy and quality of warehouse service levels to internal and external customers.
  • Interface with QA and Production to effect timely disposition of returned or rejected goods.
  • Develop, implement and enforce inventory management procedures for received goods to ensure timely stock rotation and accuracy of inventory stocks.
  • Continuously work on developing the staff and the operations

Must be experienced with working with computers and have the ability to learn, navigate and use designated software programs as required to perform job functions. Must be able to work effectively in a multi-talking work environment and prioritize workload. Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and have the ability to interact positively with others within the department and the organization. Must be able to speak effectively before groups. Must be able to effectively supervise others.
