Job Purpose:


Responsible for planning, scheduling and managing the maintenance activities. Works closely with the maintenance personnel, and other concerned parties to ensure that maintenance work is scheduled and planned at a time that minimizes impact on operations. Coordinates with procurement personnel to ensure that all necessary resources are available to complete the maintenance work. Ensures that all scheduled maintenance work is completed on time and in compliance with regulations, procedures, and standards.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Applies approved policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
  • Applies the day-to-day operations assigned for the section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures to ensure continuity of the work.
  • Plan and manages the day-to-day schedule of maintenance activities
  • Develops a deep understanding of job related business used in operations, and other specialized equipment
  • Ensures that all maintenance activities are scheduled and planned in compliance with industry regulations and standards, including those related to safety and environmental protection.
  • Develops and implements preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of related facilities.
  • Works closely with material planners to ensure that spare parts and materials are available when needed to complete maintenance work.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure that external resources are available when needed to support maintenance activities.
  • Analyzes related equipment performance data to identify trends and develop strategies for improving business continuity and minimizing downtime.
  • Consults with proponent departments and maintenance supervisors to study problems related to maintenance and develop solutions.
  • Monitor and track maintenance work to ensure that it is completed on schedule and in compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, and make adjustments to the maintenance schedule as needed.
  • Develop and maintain reports to track maintenance performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Reviews work schedule of maintenance projects and if necessary, provides technical advice on material procurement, contract management, and schedule.
  • Reports on actual vs. budgeted time and expenditures and explains variances.
  • Utilized SAP maintenance systems to develop, track, and report on maintenance activities and ensures accuracy of all related equipment and facilities history.
  • Prepares reports in timely and accurate manner in order to meet Company and department requirements, policies and standards.
  • Compiles various report such as Monthly Project Update, Monthly Project Activity Report, other technical reports.
  • Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
  • The post holder may be required to undertake additional duties, which may be reasonably expected and forms part of the function of the post.
  • Communicates with Superiors to updates job status on regular basis. Coordinates with other departments as required on Daily basis.
  • Regular coordination with Contractors, Vendors and Service providers as required.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instruments or equivalent)
  • Minimum 12 years of maintenance experience in assigned discipline in the position in oil & gas industry.
  • Intermediate level in speaking and writing English language.
