Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
Performs moderately complex custodial work at Bivins Pointe and other specific assigned areas
Work involves cleaning and caring for the building and premises, maintaining custodial equipment, requesting supplies and participating in performing minor equipment repairs and installation
Works under limited supervision with some latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment
Knowledge and experience in all department custodial operations
Coordinates with the Support Services Director in the cleaning and custodial maintenance of other areas and buildings when the need arises
Requisitions supplies as needed, coordinates with available staff to cover custodial work caused by staff shortage
Attends training as required by Human Resource Development and/or custodial manager
Knowledge and experience in all department custodial operations
Required qualifications to be successful in the job:
High school diploma or GED
One semester (12 credit hours) of accredited college work; or minimum of eighth grade reading comprehension level as evidenced by score on the Adult Basic Learning Examination (ABLE) test

Must have a valid Texas driver's license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy
Must be 18 years or age or older
Preferred qualifications to be successful in the job:
