SCOPE:This position requires a developed trade of expertise in machine maintenance and production equipment repairs. Installs, maintains and repairs hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, mechanical and electrical systems on all production equipment and can work independently in the performance of standard maintenance and repairs.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

• Thorough knowledge of programming of PLC and CNC controls.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE: Associates Degree in Machining or Certificate in Industrial, 5 years of Industrial experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The following list of major duties represents a composite list of typical duties performed by individuals in this position. Specific duties performed by the incumbent will vary depending upon the facility and/or department within the company.

• Daily, receives assigned work order to complete on equipment.
• Upon completion of work, enters appropriate information onto worksheet for submission and filling into MRP and CMMS system.
• Performs scheduled PMs and visually inspect and test assigned machines and equipment for proper functionality.
• May be required to order requisition parts as needed.
• Perform repairs on production machines and/or equipment when a malfunction has been detected. May discuss machine operation variations with Production Manager or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem and repair the machine.
• Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Perform machine installations/ moves and building maintenance tasks as needed.
• Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• Ensures that a high level of safety is always adhered to on an off the production floor.
• All duties covered under Maintenance Technician level I.
• Additional tasks as assigned by Operations Manager.
