Job Details

Working closely with the Maintenance team, and under direction of the Maintenance Manager, this role will be responsible for:

• Installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, motors, relays, switches, thermostats, circuit-breaker panels, power supply wiring, cables, conduit, etc.
• Closely following electrical code, manuals, specifications, schematics, and blueprints
• Troubleshooting and resolving problems in electrical circuits and equipment using test instruments and equipment
• Measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing electrical conduit rulers, measuring devices, hand tools, pipe threaders, and conduit benders
• Making time and materials estimates
• Identifying necessary repairs / preventive maintenance on buildings, grounds, and equipment
• Responding to emergencies, as needed

Qualified candidates will offer:

• Valid Journeyman Electricians or Master Electrician license for the state of TX
• Valid driver's license
• 5yrs+ experience as Electrician
• Reliability, organization, and strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - internal and external to the company
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written reference guides
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring, and operating principles of motors
• Strong knowledge of local electrical codes
• Experience with necessary hand and power tools
• Strong mathematical skills
