Schedule: Shift work, 7 days/off 7 days/7 nights repeat Thursday through to Wednesday

Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Overtime Rate: $75 per hour

• As necessary, make sure that DOT, FERC, OSHA, USCG, and other regulatory agencies are being followed.
• Carries out facility operator responsibilities for the designated area in a 12-hour daily rotating shift environment, including on weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• manages the plant's utilities, such as the fire water system, nitrogen, water, air, sanitation, and electrical power systems.
• performs regular security and maintenance duties when operational schedules allow.
• To guarantee safe operation and high-quality output, instrument measurements of gas volumes, temperatures, flows, and pressures are monitored and recorded. Deviations from standard are reported so that remedial action can be performed.

• Organize housekeeping tasks in areas of accountability to get rid of safety risks and keep the workspace tidy.
• Examines safety devices in designated areas, confirms their positioning, and tests their functionality to determine their capacity to identify hazards and incidents and issue warnings in order to avert accidents and fires.
• When safety equipment is inspected or tested, report any problems or occurrences right away.

Education, Training and Certifications: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Formal education in related technical or engineering discipline or related military training/experience is desirable.

• Utility operations including air, water, fire water, sanitation and nitrogen.
• Ship loading systems operations.
• Emergency shutdown (EDS) systems.
• Fire and gas detection and suppression systems.
• Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) operations.
• Basic machinery diagnostics.
• Basic boil off gas (BOG) and vapor return blower operations.
• Basic office applications and time reporting procedures.
• Basic storage tank operations.
• Basic Cargo Tanker offloading operations.
• Basic Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) applications.
• Basic process controls including flow, pressure level and temperature logic systems and process diagrams (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).

Experience: Plant process experience ranging from one to eight (8+) years in related industry (Petro-Chemical/Refinery/Cryogenic).Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and possess the personal characteristics of integrity, accountability and dependability is also required. The incumbent should have a general understanding of field operational experience in startup/ shutdown and preparation of field equipment for maintenance.

Must maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in good standing status.
