This position will be responsible for ensuring material inventory levels are correct. Locate laydown yards and secure for material and coordinate material shipments with vendor. Address any material discrepancies with project manager, business unit and vendor. Work with supply chain on material transfers when needed and compute the amount of materials required to complete job orders. Establish a working relationship with project managers, coordinators, schedulers, and managers dealing with material issues and schedules. Essential Responsibilities. Ensure material inventory levels are correct, work with schedulers and coordinators to ensure material is delivered to jobsites in a timely manner to meet construction schedules and timelines. Address material issues on site, verify project readiness (staking and mowing) on site and work with project manager to make strategic decisions to resolve issues.
