Caregiver is a leading Texas-based provider of services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We support clients through personalized treatment plans to help them lead their best lives. We are looking for an Area Director to oversee all aspects of our operations within the assigned area.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide leadership to meet or exceed revenue, profitability, and quality KPIs, including client satisfaction and service quality.
  2. Analyze business data to inform decisions.
  3. Address client and guardian concerns professionally and efficiently.
  4. Maintain relationships with regulatory officials.
  5. Manage labor and expenses effectively.
  6. Ensure billing accuracy and compliance with licensing standards.
  7. Lead survey preparations and ensure state compliance.
  8. Promote community awareness of Caregiver programs.
  9. Collaborate on strategic planning and growth initiatives.
  10. Hire, train, and develop staff.
  11. Ensure adherence to employment laws.
  12. Audit service documentation and oversee service delivery.
  13. Manage purchases of adaptive aids and home modifications.
  14. Coordinate safety inspections and committee memberships.
  15. Hold employees accountable for their work.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  2. Knowledge of HCS, ICF/IID, and DAHS-ISS systems.
  3. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  4. Bachelor's degree in social services or related field preferred.
  5. At least 5 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
