A boutique, client-focused financial planning firm is seeking a motivated Associate Financial Service Advisor to join its Texas-based team. This firm specializes in serving high-net-worth individuals and families, delivering personalized wealth management and planning services grounded in long-term relationships and trust.

Position Overview:

As an Associate Financial Service Advisor, you will play a key support role on the client advisory team—helping develop customized financial plans, manage investment workflows, and provide high-touch service. This is a strong growth opportunity for a financial professional with foundational experience and a long-term interest in becoming a lead advisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial plans, investment reviews, and client meeting materials.
  • Support client onboarding and account administration, including paperwork, custodial systems, and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with senior advisors on tax, estate, and retirement planning strategies.
  • Conduct investment and financial research to support recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records in CRM and financial planning software.
  • Liaise with external professionals (e.g., attorneys, accountants) to implement client strategies.
  • Stay informed about financial planning trends, tax law changes, and industry tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in financial services or wealth management.
  • CFP certification or strong interest in pursuing (candidates currently enrolled welcome).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); familiarity with eMoney, Tamarac, or similar platforms is a plus.
