Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Breast Care Center Ultrasound Technician in Amarillo,TX.

*Get to Know Your Team:*
* BSA Harrington Cancer Center is a state-of-the-art, 48,000-square-foot facility with two new linear accelerators for radiation treatments, 24 patient exam rooms, 28 heated chemotherapy infusion chairs and three private infusion rooms for families.

*Responsibilities*
* Ability to adequately perform breast ultrasounds as well as invasive breast procedures.
* Sonographer must be able to perform procedures in a fast-paced environment.
* Need to exercise critical thinking skills, be able to multi-task, and manage stress.
* The Ultrasound technologist will provide patient care essential to the exam, when performing medical imaging procedures, use all available safety devices, and follow the established protocols.
* Must be able to work well with others and have effective communication skills.
* Sonographer will follow the direction of the Breast Center Radiologists as well as the ultrasound supervisor.
* Shifts are spent with extensive time on their feet and standing. Sonographer are responsible for performing quality exams and maintaining their credentials.

*Qualifications*
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree, if training is needed
* CPR certification from either the Red Cross or American Heart Association
* Basic knowledge of breast biopsy procedures
Preferred Job Requirements:
* 2 years experience in breast ultrasound.
* Mammo experience.
* ARRT (BR) or ARDMS (BR)
