Job Title: Janitor
Location: Amarillo, Texas
Type: Contract
Compensation: $14 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: Monday through Friday, 7AM - 3:30PM
System One is actively seeking a Janitor for a position located in Amarillo, TX.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
- Responsible for janitorial duties for office and plant area of power plant
- Must be able to lift approximately 60 pounds without assistance
- Will maintain and wax floors as needed
- Removing trash
- Preparing tea/coffee for lunch and breaks
- Maintaining supplies
- May work outside at times
- Will require a candidate to lift 60lbs. without assistants.
- Able to work in hot and cold temperatures
- Able to work 40 hours a week on their feet, and climb numerous stairs
- Normally a 40 hour work week, Monday through Friday, 7AM - 3:30PM
- Overtime during outages may be required.
- This is strictly a long term contract assignment with limited benefits.
- We do offer a limited health plan with reasonable rates to assist with medical costs
- Paid time off is acquired as follows
- After 1200 hours worked, eligible for 5 paid holidays
- After 1500 hours worked, eligible for 40 hours vacation
