Summary: As a Pharmacy Intern Trainee, your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional guest relations and service, contributing to the positive reputation of our pharmacy. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and engage each guest who enters the pharmacy.
• Assist in the handling of prescriptions, including counting, labeling, and reconstituting medications.
• Provide patient counseling under the oversight of a licensed pharmacist.
• Accept new prescriptions from physicians or their representatives, clarifying any details as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality while managing patient records.
• Keep accurate guest charge and delivery records.
• Mail out prescriptions when necessary.
• Perform additional duties as directed by management.

Key Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy program.
• Registered as a Pharmacy Intern by the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Aged 18 years or older.
• Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
• Prior experience in retail pharmacy is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and undergo training from the pharmacy team, completing on-the-job training and assessments, including guest service duties and pharmacy technology use.
• Knowledge of pharmacy-related laws and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, standing, and walking.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as a team member.
