Overview

High Plains Radiological Association (HPRA) is a regional radiology group based in Amarillo, TX. HPRA is a private practice owned by physicians, providing service to multiple hospitals and imaging centers throughout Texas and New Mexico. The groups primary contract is with Baptist St. Anthonys Hospital in Amarillo, with teleradiology services reading for 37 other hospitals and imaging centers. HPRA is seeking a fellowship-trained breast imager or a general diagnostic radiologist with experience and interest in a higher volume of mammography. The percentage of breast imaging is flexible.

Responsibilities

• Read breast imaging studies (mammography) and diagnostic imaging exams as part of a multi-radiologist team
• Provide onsite coverage as needed and participate in teleradiology workflows
• Collaborate with other HPRA radiologists and support staff to maintain high-quality imaging services
• Contribute to the groups growth and maintain professional standards in a privately owned practice

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained in breast imaging or a general diagnostic radiologist with experience and interest in higher-volume mammography
• Experience reading mammography and related breast imaging modalities
• Interest in practicing within a private, physician-owned group with a collaborative culture
• Ability to read a large volume of studies and participate in night coverage as part of internal arrangements
