Warehouse Personnel

Ready to put your skills to work where it counts? Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced construction warehouse personnel for a construction site in Amarillo, TX! If you have proven experience in construction warehouse or laydown yard operations, we'd love to hear from you. Position is based in Amarillo, TX and requires the ability to work away from home for extended periods, with travel home every few weeks. Per diem is provided and compensation is commensurate with experience.

Pay Rate: $48.00 per hour + Overtime and per diem

Schedule and Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Overtime on Saturdays

Warehouse Personnel Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and store construction materials, equipment, and supplies in the laydown yard
• Operate material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and stage materials for delivery to crews and job sites, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution
• Maintain a clean and organized yard, ensuring materials are properly stored and secure
• Perform inventory control, documentation, and reporting as required
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, inspect materials for damage, and report discrepancies
• Support field operations by supplying materials as needed
• Adhere to company and site-specific safety standards, including the use of PPE

Warehouse Personnel Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 13 years of warehouse, yard, or laydown yard experience (construction or industrial required)
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs. and work in outdoor environments (lifting assessment to be administered in office.)
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork
• Must be able to travel and stay at remote work locations as required

Job Type: Full-time, temporary
