• Physicians Surgical Hospitals includes two surgical centers - Panhandle Surgical Hospital and Quail Creek Surgical Hospital, and one physical therapy center - Quail Creek Physical Therapy - and a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center, Advanced Imaging Center of Amarillo.

Responsibilities

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in patient rooms, clinical areas, and public spaces within the hospital. This role performs advanced and specialized cleaning duties, adheres to infection control standards, and may serve as a resource or mentor to Housekeeper I staff.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of environmental services or housekeeping experience in a healthcare or institutional hospital setting.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Experience with infection control cleaning protocols and terminal room cleaning strongly preferred.
