As a **Security Officer - Front Desk Utilities** in **Amarillo, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at a utilities location, providing outstanding customer service and communication. **What You'll Do:**
+ Greet visitors, employees, and/or contractors at the front desk, verifying identification and granting access according to site-specific policies.
+ Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and directing individuals to appropriate locations within the facility.
+ Monitor entry and exit points from the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of all individuals entering or leaving the location.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures for the utilities environment.
+ Maintain accurate records of visitor and contractor access, deliveries, and incidents as required by site protocols.
+ Communicate professionally with site personnel, Allied Universal management, and local emergency services as needed.
+ Support security-related procedures and emergency response activities as directed by site-specific policies and Allied Universal protocols.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
