About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist on our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in helping adults regain independence and functional ability following illness, injury, or surgery. You will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, working closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and administer therapeutic interventions to support patients' return to daily living skills and quality of life.
Deliver direct patient care for individuals recovering from conditions such as stroke, neurological disorders, orthopedic injuries, and complex medical conditions.
Educate and engage patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and home strategies to support ongoing recovery.
Consult and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
Valid TX Occupational Therapist license or willingness to obtain
