We're seeking a motivated and compassionate Student Nurse Aide to join our growing team! This is a valuable opportunity to gain real-world experience in long-term care while providing quality care to our residents. Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency in attendance are essential. You must be able to work cooperatively, multitask efficiently, and remain professional in a fast-paced environment.
Your Impact as a Student Nurse Aide
In this role, you will:
- Provide personal care to residents (e.g., grooming, bathing, peri care, dressing) under supervision and within the scope of your training.
- Change bed linens and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident rooms.
- Assist with ambulation and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Routinely reposition residents and monitor skin integrity.
- Support nursing staff by completing non-nursing tasks such as making beds, passing water/ice, answering call lights, and organizing supplies.
- Assist with range of motion exercises and engage in reality orientation with residents.
- Identify and report any condition that requires management attention.
We're seeking someone who:
- Has written proof of completion of 16-hour ADL training from an authorized school/instructor.
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Shows excellent self-discipline, patience, and a passion for serving others.
- Can follow safety policies and procedures.
- Has basic computer literacy and can follow documentation protocols.
- Respects and adheres to the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
