A company is looking for a Vulnerability Disclosure Analyst to provide comprehensive vulnerability intelligence to the security market.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze vendor security advisories and research various sources to identify legitimate vulnerabilities and author detailed entriesReview new vulnerabilities for inclusion in the VulnDB product and update existing entries with relevant informationMentor junior analysts and collaborate with other teams to address customer challenges and clarify technical contentRequired QualificationsIn-depth knowledge of security software and hardware vulnerabilities, including familiarity with the OWASP top 20Understanding of secure coding practices, cryptography, and authentication protocolsKnowledge of security and network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, and HTTP protocolsExperience with scripted languages (preferably Python3) and compiled languages (preferably C)Experience with vulnerability exploit development and security assessment tools
