Pay: $18/hr
Under the direct supervision of the Utility Billing Cashier Supervisor and Assistant Supervisor, a Cashier Lead is responsible for guiding a group of cashier representatives to assist in daily operations and help with customer related services and issues. Cashier Leads manage mid-level customer complaints and provide immediate resolution to improve customer satisfaction. They are proficient in money management skills, and they work closely with the Cashier Supervisor to implement strategies to increase accuracy and achieve departmental goals. Cashier Leads assist the department Systems Specialist in testing system updates, researching trends, and reporting issues within daily processes. They train new cashier representatives to be accurate and efficient in the knowledge and performance of daily tasks, and they assist the Cashier Supervisor in evaluating performance of representatives. A Cashier Lead must have excellent communication and leadership skills to guide a team and support the departments vision.
