Job Description Job Description Position SummaryWe are seeking aUtility Solar MechanicalSuperintendent.Duties includecoordination andplanningofsub-contractors, and craft activities on a utility scale solar site. Develop and enhancesubcontractor andcustomer relationships by providing superior service. Must be willing to travel and be based on-site at any of our utility scale solar projects. The MechanicalSuperintendent position will manage assigned projects, including overseeing field and mechanical operations, general safety, productivity, schedule, qualityinspections,and coordination with Foremen and project leaders on the jobsite.This position isfull-time, non-exempt,project location based.KeyResponsibilities:Plan and direct mechanical work activities on job sites; coordinate with themechanicalsubcontractorsandteam members on schedules, updates, and look-ahead planningLead crews to complete projects safely, on time, within budget, andin accordance withplans and specificationsCoordinate personnel, materials, and equipment to meet project demands; ensure teams havethenecessary resources and support.Supervise andmaintainquality control for both self-performed and subcontracted work.Manage coordination with manufacturers related to mechanical racking and post systems.Support project management with planning and execution of mechanical means and methods.Identifyissues, evaluate solutions, and implement effective corrective actionsFollow and enforce company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.Verifyappropriate weldingcertifications, training, and experience for assigned work.Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and project-specific standards.Maintain attention to detail while working efficiently and meeting deadlines.Coordinate resources and activities to ensure safe, high-quality execution.Communicate and collaborate effectively with Owner representatives and third-party agencies.Requirements:Minimum2+ years of Mechanicalsupervisory experience.Strong mechanical knowledge, including methods, equipment, and field practicesAbility to read and interpret drawings, sketches, and prints, including underground duct banks and trenching.Experienceoperatingand supervising proper use of equipment in a solar or similar construction environment.Valid driver's licenseand insurable driving record.Strong customer service and client relationship skillsProficient in computer applications, including Word, email, spreadsheets, and presentations.Ability to work in both office and fieldenvironments.Physically capable of sitting, standing, bending, twisting, andlifting upto 50 lbs.Powered by JazzHRSfhfEXkY8X
